Nineteen Years of Bliss!

Yesterday hubby and I celebrated 19 years of married life. I love him more today than I ever dreamed possible as I stood at the alter a mere 20 years old.

We have lived together. We have laughed together. We have learned together.

Four children have blessed our lives. One of those resides in her heavenly home.

We are perfect for each other. Where I am weak, he is strong. We can still make each other laugh and we often know what the other is thinking without a word. He is a faithful provider and I try to make our home a place where he can rest.

I love him. He loves me. We both pray for many, many more years of sharing our lives together.

A Two Year Old--A Drawer Full of Sharpies: You Guess What Happened!

There is a first for everything, right? On the Loose has been particularly living up to his moniker as of late. He is into anything and everything! He steals items from each family member and runs off laughing taking them to his "hiding place." I even found him on our bed the other day with his toothbrush and what used to be a full tube of his baby toothpaste. He had emptied almost the whole thing onto our bedspread. I still can't figure out how to get that out!

Today was no different. I knew he was making a mess in the den but figured I would just clean it up when he took a nap. He emerged from the room and I discovered this:

I'm not sure how he accomplished it in such a short period of time! Of course, I ran straight to Five in a Row because the ladies there know everything! LOL!! I was advised to use baby wipes and rubbing alcohol (there was even a suggestion that I have some alcohol of the drinkable variety...believe me, if I even had cooking wine in the house right now I'd be mighty tempted! LOL!!) and, of course, they were right! Most of the color is now gone.

Once he was mostly cleaned up he said, "Am I still naughty, Mommy, or am I a good boy now?" I had to chuckle and told him, "You're a good boy but you did a very naughty thing today." It is, however, impossible to stay mad at someone so cute!

Anyone want to warn me what he is going to get into next? :-)
